What is FitDesk?
The FitDesk is a lightweight exercise bike that allows you mount work on a laptop or play video games while enjoying the healthy benefits of an active lifestyle. FitDesk signifies the merging of health and productivity.
What is the FitDesk Pro?
FitDesk Pro is a mounting system that allows a cyclist to enjoy the benefits of FitDesk while still using his or her road, mountain, or spin bike.
Who makes FitDesk?
FitDesk is made by Revo Innovations, a company based in Nashville, Tennessee. FitDesk is proudly made in the United States.
What are the ideal uses for FitDesk?
There are many. FitDesk is great for use in an office or at home, while checking emails, writing memos, reading, playing video games, or engaging in other online activities.
I have a small apartment or in a cubicle. Will FitDesk fit there?
Yes. FitDesk weighs only 35 pounds, and the bike’s X-Bike design allows you to quickly fold the bike for easy storage in tight spaces.
Will my laptop fall off the bike?
FitDesk’s foam core construction creates a solid foundation that grips your laptop, keyboard, book, or other item. Additionally, a strap is included to help keep your valuable electronics safe and sound while you ride. We recommend you use common sense when placing items on the FitDesk, and using it only for the purposes for which it is intended.
How does it help me lose weight?
The idea is based on research conducted by the Mayo Clinic. Its doctors and researchers found that the sedentary lifestyle of sitting in front of a computer or video game for hours, even when interrupted with periods of intense exercise, is terribly unhealthy. FitDesk offers the Mayo Clinic’s recommendations by allowing you steady physical activity even while engaged in computer and gaming activities. However, FitDesk strongly recommends you consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, including FitDesk.
Can my children use FitDesk?
If a child is able to ride an adult sized bike, he or she should be able to use FitDesk with no problem. We currently are in the development phases to offer a children’s version. FitDesk recommends that minors use FitDesk only under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or other adult.
How much does FitDesk cost?
